Pastel Painting Studio at the Hamilton Center for the Arts

This one-day workshop with soft pastel is an opportunity to receive individualized instruction in a supportive and inspiring environment. Beginning through advanced levels are welcome.

We will work from observation of a colorful still life arrangement. We‘ll explore varied pastel techniques, the principles of compositional design, and visual elements used to make a representational image including the significance of value and warm and cool colors.
